JOB OPPORTUNITIES
Plan, organize, and oversee events that promote African culture and education. Work closely with the team to ensure the successful execution of programs, including logistics, budgeting, and participant engagement.
Lead and manage specific projects from inception to completion. Coordinate with various stakeholders, set timelines, track progress, and ensure project goals are met effectively and efficiently.
Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote our programs and events. Create engaging content for various platforms, manage social media, and collaborate with the team to enhance our outreach efforts.
Support the Operations Manager in day-to-day activities. Assist in coordinating logistics, managing resources, and ensuring smooth operations of the AfriCanada Centre and Vision Studios.
Maintain accurate financial records for the organization. Manage accounts payable and receivable, prepare financial reports, and assist in budget tracking to ensure financial health and transparency.
Develop and implement fundraising strategies to support our programs. Identify potential funding sources, create grant proposals, and organize fundraising events to secure financial support for our initiatives.
Provide administrative support to the team, including managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, maintaining files, and assisting with various office tasks. Ensure efficient office operations and help facilitate communication within the organization.
Create, curate, and manage published content across social media platforms. Develop strategies to increase engagement and reach, monitor social media trends, and interact with followers to build a strong online community around our initiatives.
