The Africa-Canada Centre & Vision Studios
Mission: The AfriCanada Centre aims to provide opportunities for creative and artistic expression and empowerment, talent development and training for members of our community in traditional and modern performance arts, digital literacy, as well as to generate economic and business activity and entrepreneurship.
The Africa-Canada Centre & Vision Studios is a modern multi-purpose facility consisting of a state-of-the-art technology and community space, equipment, and training for Black Canadians in British Columbia to create, produce, their works, as well as to train, polish, and refresh their talents and digital literacy. It is a destination for knowledge, creation, fun, empowerment, and community.
Vision
We have create a modern multi-purpose facility consisting of a state-of-the-art technology and community space, equipment, and training Canadians of all backgrounds, irrespective of gender, sexual orientation, disability, class, and religion that brings together a combination of culture, technology and the arts, while fostering creativity amongst people of different backgrounds and age groups.
AfriCanada Centre
The AfriCanada Centre is a creative space that offers all the technical tools with a simple minimalist ambient design. It Iis inviting to different people from different backgrounds and includes comfortable ergonomic furniture to support lengthy hours of work and design whether on a canvas or on a computer.
From the organizational phase to production phase and finally the post-production process, the Centre is a haven for the artist and storyteller.
